Studio classes are regularly scheduled standalone classes that focus on set topics, although students may work on their own projects if they prefer. Canvases and other materials are included. Call for studio class rates.
Some studio classes are limited to specific age groups, as described in the schedule below.
We offer fun and engaging fine art classes to individual and group homeschool students. Homeschool programs are customized to ensure compliance with your program's standards and requirements. We also work with homeschool networks as well as private schools to supplement their art cirriculum.
NOTE: All services offered to home or private/charter school students are completely non-sectarian. There are no religious or political materials incorporated into any class or activity.

Host a unique and engaging creative gathering in our studio! Perfect for birthdays, work retreats, happy hour, fundraisers, and girls night out, we have different options for both children and adults, and can configure an event to meet your needs. Please contact us for details and rates.
If you're an artist looking for a space to teach your own students on an individual or group basis, private group classes and special project sessions are available upon request.
Specials classes consist of pre-planned group art projects and activities, such as acrylic paint pours, abstracts, and other multi-media projects. Excursions are group outings to a variety of artist-loved spots in San Diego county.

*PiBA members pay a basic materials fee of $110 that covers all basic materials used during the school year (September to May), pro-rated after October 1st. The basic materials fee does not include materials required for special classes, which are charged separately.
Members can attend any scheduled class (space permitting). Members are also entitled to discounts for special classes or for friends or relatives that want to try a class.
Note that December 31st is the cut-off date for membership. Those who fail to pay the fee by that date will be required to pay the non-member rate for classes taken during the remainder of the school year.
Additional Fees: $10/up to half-hour for extended classes or late pickups
No-Shows and last-minute cancellations subject to charge.
Creative writing classes are $60/per 3-hour class.
